One of my favorite things about North Carolina is how easily one can go from being in a buzzing city, take a short drive, and then be in the middle of hearty farmlands. As I made my way from Durham to Pittsboro for Sarah & Brendan's wedding, I found myself profoundly grateful. They merged two of my favorite elements of this diverse North Carolina landscape: sprawling farms and restored warehouse architecture.
Sarah & Brendan are deeply kind, creative people who planned a wedding I immediately appreciated. They are smiley and gentle and hospitable. The couple got ready at their home: a little pool house on a farm. Their ceremony was held at one of my favorite Piedmont venues: The Chatham Mills Warehouse. It's neighbor, the delicious and renowned Oakleaf restaurant, hosted their intimate reception that followed. The day was filled with good food in a beautiful place for a warm, well-loved couple. It was a great day. Enjoy!
